The majority of each City Kitch facility is dedicated to spacious shared-use cooking areas. In our kitchens you’ll find multiple large prep stations with plenty of space to operate your business.
Our well-equipped hot lines include dozens of feet of commercial exhaust hoods covering a full compliment of high-end commercial kitchen equipment.
Caterers, food trucks, bakers, pastry chefs, personal chefs, food product producers, food artisans, culinary instructors and just about any food-focused business you can think of will find a home at The City Kitch.
We offer up-scale locations, plenty of lighted parking, secure facility access, 24 hour video surveillance and a convenient reservation system that assures you’ll always find your work space ready for use when you arrive.
Our unique Private Prep Suites are the way to go. These individual spaces are available on a monthly basis and allow our community members the ability to conduct all of their business from one convenient location so you don’t have to haul your business back and forth from your house any more. (We call it “schlepping” and we don’t like to do it!)
You get to choose just how your private suite will be equipped. We outfit each with prep and hand sinks, prep tables, private refrigeration and storage, then you decide what equipment you want to add. A private prep suite allows you to run your entire operation from one convenient location without the overhead of a retail or separate office location.
Of course you’ll have as much time in the kitchen as you’ll need as well….all included in your monthly fees.Your private prep suite will be outfitted exactly as you want it. It’s your space!
The ServSafe® program at The City Kitch provides food safety training, exams and educational materials to food-service managers. Students will earn the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP).
The program blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research and years of food sanitation training experience. You’ll learn to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety. All content and materials are based on actual job tasks identified by food-service industry experts.
The ServSafe® program is developed by the National Restaurant Association with the help of food-service industry experts who face the same risks you do every day.
